Steaming to Oban, Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, the sacred Isle of Iona, the awesome pillars of Staffa, and the Isle of Coll. From Armadale through the narrows at Kylerhea to Kyle of Lochalsh, and on to Broadford & Portree on the Isle of Skye. To Mallaig and Knoydart on Loch Nevis. Passing Corran and Ardgour to Fort William and Loch Eil. Enjoyment of the passing Hebridean landscape and the onboard camaraderie, added to fine weather, completes a very special "Waverley" experience.

Neil Oliver and Tony Pollard set out to solve one of the biggest puzzles in battlefield archaeology. 700 years ago, Robert the Bruce's overwhelming victory over the English at the Battle of Bannockburn helped seal Scotland's future as an independent kingdom, although the actual location remains a mystery. With the help of leading battlefield archaeologists, stuntmen, computer-generated graphics and some digging, Neil and Tony go in search of both the real and imagined Battle of Bannockburn.
Multimillionaire landowner Paul Lister wants to turn his 23,000-acre estate north of Inverness into Europe's first wilderness reserve. Reinstating the old Caledonian pine forests is the first of his plans. He then wants to release long-lost animals, starting with moose and wild boar, and eventually predators such as brown bears, lynx and wolves. Some of the local people are far from convinced by Paul's vision. Will he even be allowed to let loose moose in the glen?
