Secret forces from the North and South reluctantly agree to work together to prevent a possible war between their two countries.

Based on the long running play by Jang Jin, the story is set in Korea during the Korean War in 1950. Soldiers from both the North and South, as well as an American pilot, find themselves in a secluded and naively idealistic village, its residents unaware of the outside world, including the war.

In North Korea, torrential rains force the dams open, sending floodwater into the south. Later, two kids in South Korea pick up a plastic bag carrying a beetle in the stream. When they learn that the beetle is a North Korean child’s school project, they raise the beetle for him.

As the World Cup gets started in 2002, a North Korean squad commander (Lee Seong-jae) stationed at the DMZ who is crazy about football is frustrated that he cannot participate in the excitement in the South. He loves football so much that he even memorizes all the names of the members of the South Korean national team. One night during a search operation in which the leader and his troops chase a boar to satisfy their hunger, they come face to face with soldiers from South Korea. It doesn’t take long for the soldiers to discover that they share a love of football and they begin secret radio communications so they can listen to matches together. When their secret is uncovered, the squad leader and his troops must find a way out of the situation.

A North Korean spy Lee Chul-jin infiltrates the eastern coast of South Korea. His mission is to steal a Super Pig DNA sample which can be used to alleviate the famine in North Korea.

Kim, a North Korean spy, lives in South Korea for 22 years and is contacted unexpectedly by his superior. His team plans to complete an earlier mission and steal the target's large stockpile of cash.

Follows Rim Chul-ryung heading back to South Korea in pursuit of a brutal and secret criminal organization. He teams up again with Kang Jin-tae, who volunteers to work with the North Korean in order to get back on the investigation team after a mistake landed him in the cyber crime department.
