With the villagers of Saint-Élie-de-Caxton barely having enough food to survive, Ésimésac convinces them to collaborate on a community garden. Each person will multiply his or her yield by cultivating the land together. At the same time, talk of a new railway line promises to connect Saint-Élie-de-Caxton to the rest of the world and brings the hope of abundance. Riopel, the hulking blacksmith, starts working on the railway track and convinces the locals to invest in his project rather than waste their time playing in the garden. Ésimésac’s big project flounders under the weight of metal. But can he really stop progress?

A star fell to Earth. And so a star boy appeared on our planet. He was agile and clever, but cruel and cold. Even his mother, who had been searching for him for years and therefore showed up in the rags of a beggar, he had pushed him away and hurt him. But fate gave him a chance to correct his mistakes.
The king is comfortable and does not want to be ruled, so he announces a competition for inventors. He wants them to invent something that will make his reign easier. As a reward, the winner will get Princess Hedwig as his wife. The princess is unhappy and goes to complain to a young blacksmith. The inventors parade in front of the king and princess with nonsensical ideas, and everything culminates when one of them invents a clock that will extend the day by another 24 hours...

A princess grows up without a mother. Her father, a kind and just king, loves his daughter above all else, but wants to marry her off at any cost. And no one really knows why he is in such a hurry. The king organizes a grand ball at the castle. A number of princes court the princess, but the one she chooses does not appeal to her father for reasons that are incomprehensible... Only later does it become clear that behind it all lies an ancient curse, the ruler of the empire of witches, and the Snow Dragon. The princess and her chosen one thus embark on a difficult and dangerous journey...

A queen is so vain she needs the magical mirror the Black Knight forged to tell her daily she's the belle of the realm. When it adds Snowwhite, the king's heiress, has grown even more beautiful, the queen orders him and the shivering jester Andreas, who secretly loves the girl, to murder her step-daughter. However the knight fakes her death and seven dwarfs take her in at their magical mine. The dwarfs tell her various secrets, including true identities, and plot to save her, the disguised queen to murder her once the mirror betrays she's alive.
