A tramp overhears a rancher's plans to go to town for the ranch's payroll. He tries to enlist another loafer (the Knight) to help with a robbery. Instead, the Knight helps thwart the robbery.

Felix, the King of Wallonia, has to marry Louise, Princess of the neighboring State of Trebizond. The old Prince, her father, craves the elixir of youth, and gets drunk so often that Trebizond is in bad shape. Thus, it is up to Felix to be King of both States. But Louise has a love affair with Stepan, the heir presumptive to his throne, and Felix flees to America in disguise. By a strange twist of circumstance he takes a job as butler in the home of J.P. Morton, multi-millionaire. There he meets Marcia, Morton's daughter, and the jig is up. He loves her.
Bob and Dick both secretly love Dorothy but are too timid to propose. Bob rehearses his proposal to Dorothy, accidentally proposing to the maid, who accepts. Dick arrives, leading to a comical standoff. The maid reveals Bob's "proposal" to the chef, who, jealous, bursts in with a knife. Dorothy, finally arriving, clarifies the misunderstanding, and Bob proposes to her, leaving Dick as best man.

Maud March, the rebellious daughter of a millionaire, goes to New York to see her sweetheart Geoffrey who left town years ago. Her aunt Carolyn wants Maud to marry her son Reggie and sends the Maud's brother Percy after her to act as chaperone. Maud, trying to escape, enters a taxi where she meets handsome composer George Bevan. The man falls in love with the young lady who, when she sees how Geoffrey has changed, soon agrees to marry George.
Mendoza, who had an affair with the star of the original production of La Vie parisienne in 1900, returns in 1935 with his son and granddaughter. His granddaughter is engaged to a young Frenchman, but Mendoza's strait-laced and puritanical son initially forbids the marriage. The core conflict involves Mendoza and his old Parisian friends conspiring to change the son's mind and convince him to embrace the titular "Parisian life".
Orphaned heiress Katherine Bradley, known as "Kit," is an orphan and heiress is attending a fashionable and select seminary for young women. A favorite of the dean, she is allowed to take her automobile for a spin every evening with the proviso that she takes a chaperone with her. Willful Kit manages to slip out alone one day and has a blowout by the roadside. Young and handsome Gerald Cameron is passing by and offers a hand. Kit and he are instantly attracted and after many complications they are finally happily united.
Behold in this film the villain up to his dirty work again, but if you watch the persistent young hero carefully, you will see him gallantly rescue the lady in black about to be burned at the stake, while at the same time he saved the fair heroine from the mad ambition of her father about to marry her to the dastardly ex-governor of Utah.
Detective Ruby Swift is on the trail of crooked politicos McQuire and Olson and traces them to the small hamlet Hicktown. Once there she finds that they are attempting to steal the election of the mayor in order to “trim” the town. Ruby, as secretary to the politicians, causes both to fall in love with her, hoping their rivalry will part them and reveal the hidden ballot boxes. Jealous over Ruby, the politicians quarrel, and not even the suffragette Chief of Police can reconcile them. How Ruby takes advantage of the quarrel and brings them to justice is the climax of this five-reel comedy.
