Overview
Thurgau, present day: For the anniversary of the Catholic convent of Tobel, the local TV station follows a community on the brink. Only two elderly nuns remain behind its walls, while overwhelmed civil servant Toni keeps things running. Secretly he hides Lee , a wanted hacktivist – rude, nerdy, and queer as fuck – beneath the convent walls. When Sister Hildegard dies and church and political authorities plan to turn the convent into a luxury yoga retreat, Scholastika fights back against patriarchal structures.

Tony sets out to find his former bandmates with the help of former manager Karen to see if they can recapture the magic and give themselves a second chance.

Kazakh journalist Borat Sagdiyev travels to America to make a documentary. As he zigzags across the nation, Borat meets real people in real situations with hysterical consequences. His backwards behavior generates strong reactions around him exposing prejudices and hypocrisies in American culture.

After World War II, Antonia and her daughter, Danielle, go back to their Dutch hometown, where Antonia's late mother has bestowed a small farm upon her. There, Antonia settles down and joins a tightly-knit but unusual community. Those around her include quirky friend Crooked Finger, would-be suitor Bas and, eventually for Antonia, a granddaughter and great-granddaughter who help create a strong family of empowered women.
