Hina is a high school student and lives in Dekotora, due to some problems with debts, Hina is challenged to drive truck, now she struggles every day to pay the debts left by her late husband, Maki, who in the end realizes the meaning Of true love and discovers the sheer passion for driving the truck to pay off the debt.

This feature documentary shines a light on a group of women who are passionate about their non-traditional job – trucking. Filmed in 1999, it follows the women all across Quebec as they do their job and address the big-ticket items in life: love, family, freedom, and solitude. Filled with humour and the contagious good spirits of the women involved.

A long-haul trucker turns to YouTube to combat loneliness and social isolation. Under the handle “MsDivaTrucker43,” she discovers a supportive community of women who share her struggles of life in the margins.
