When a massive terror threat paralyzes downtown Seoul, former forensic scientist Jang Jae-wook arrives trailing a mysterious suitcase—containing a dead body instead of explosives. The dark shadow of a decade-old military incident comes to light, revealing a massive web of corruption spun by a deeply entrenched cartel of power. Assigned to a missing person case, reporter Trish Bostwick follows the trail to a secluded asylum hidden in the New England woods, but everything changes when a knife-wielding stranger hijacks her car, plunging her into a descent of paranoia and madness.

A reporter arrives in Rijeka and is placed in a hotel room numbered 23 where he also meets a mysterious roommate with a shady past.
