July 1956: like every summer, the actor and cellist Maurice Baquet temporarily deserts the stage and the cinema studios to go to Chamonix where the mountaineer Gaston Rebuffat is waiting for him. A few days later, the two men achieved a historic first, that of the south face of the Aiguille du Midi (3,842 m), a magnificent wall rising like a rampart above the Vallée Blanche. July 1988: to pay tribute to the memory of his friend Gaston, now deceased, Maurice Baquet once again climbed this wall suspended between heaven and earth with the man who, 50 years his junior, is considered one of his best contemporary mountaineers: Christophe Profit.

Joan Jett and Cherie Currie, two rebellious teenagers from Southern California, become the frontwomen for The Runaways -- the now-legendary group that paved the way for future generations of female rockers. Under the Svengali-like influence of impresario Kim Fowley, the band becomes a huge success.

Las Vegas, 1972. In a decade drenched in blood, confusion, and paranoia, a new serial killer lurks beneath the neon shadows, ripping bodies apart. And what was once America’s glittering playground has now become a neon-lit graveyard, paralyzed with horror. But this isn’t your average homicidal psychopath. This one walks, talks, and sings like an angel... but behind his mask lies an unholy hunger that is nowhere near being fulfilled. VAMPIRE ELVIS is a vile, carnal, grim, and seductive grindhouse relic, coming from the darkest corner of hypnagogic nightmares. A bizarre love letter to cult cinema, where rock 'n' roll rots, icons collapse, and desire outweighs reason. You’ve never seen a vampire film like this. And you sure as hell ain’t seen HIM like this. So turn the lights low. Lock the door. And whatever you do... don’t let HIM in!

In the late 1990s, Gavin Bain and Billy Boyd had their musical ambitions consistently ridiculed for having the 'wrong' accents, so they went for broke and reinvented themselves as Californian rappers. The duo re-recorded their own tracks with fake accents and turned up in London claiming to be an established duo on the Cali scene as well as childhood friends with Eminem. They quickly bagged themselves a record deal, a hefty sum in advances, and an appearance on MTV... until it all came crashing down.
