Overview
This fairy tale film is dedicated to the memory of the great film director Aleksandr Rou, the founder of the genre. Once upon a time there lived a brave and kind hero named Finist the Bright Falcon. He was famous for his strength, courage and a heart of gold. But one day the Russian land was attacked by an evil enemy, Kartaus, who turned our hero into a forest monster. This spell was cast on a condition that Finist might become a man again, should a beautiful girl, Alyonushka, fall in love with him while he was a beast.

Who would have thought that the magician Magiáš would need a doctor! But when it came to it and Magiáš lost his voice, his assistant Vincek had to try very hard to get famous doctors - from Hronov, Kostelecký and Skalický - to come to Hejšovina. Because doctors have to help the sick, even if they don't think anything good about them, they cured the magician Magiáš after all.

It's very human and nice story about lofty princess (her father is amiable but incapable - unforgettable performance of S. Neumann) and good, nice, kind and well-principled young king (prince) who tries to make tender her calm heart to get married with her. After being refused (she's very capricious), he conclude to make her better. He start to work as a gardener at her castle (in secret) and successively bring she to her senses...The story continues when already reformed princess and the young king (she learn about his real identity later) have to take refuge from troops, that princess father (old king) has sent (of course he took a bad and mean counsellors advice). They have to take shelter by several ordinary and poor families, which are always very friendly and give them a help... Of course the tale has happy end.

Three evil wizards from a gloomy enchanted forest littered with broken toys and school supplies enter the city through a secret door in the fence to find three lazy children who "waste time." Having found such lazy people - a schoolboy and a schoolgirl, sorcerers deceive them by deceiving them of the time that they thoughtlessly lost by skipping school. As a result, old people turn into big children, and children into little grandparents.
The story tells of a statue in Pribino Square in Nitra, to which the inhabitants and ancient legend attribute the qualities of the brave blacksmith Juraj Corgoň. Driven by his love for his girl and his hometown, Juraj, with his courage, strength and bravery, helped to avert one of the dangerous Turkish raids on Nitra in the 17th century.
