On a weekend getaway at a rundown cabin in the woods, Jason, a cautious teen, his crude best friend Colin and his fearless older sister Summer are forced to work together, grow up and save their hard-partying parents from their predatory neighbor intent on feeding them all to her undead family.

TV Producer Kang Min enters Spider Forest for a documentary. He enters a cabin and discovers two brutally murdered bodies. One is his girlfriend Hwang Soo-Young and the other is his colleague Choi Jong-Pil. Kang Min also senses someone watching him and runs after that person into to the forest. He's soon knocked unconscious. When he awakens again he continues his chase into a tunnel. Kang Min is then struck by a speeding car.

One evening, as Ludvik is about to go to bed, he notices that a painting, once owned by his grandfather, mysteriously begins to move on its own. The next day, Ludvik shares the unsettling event with his friend Amund, and together they decide to investigate the painting's origins. Ludvik's grandfather had lived in an old cabin deep in the woods, that had been abandoned since his passing. Determined to uncover the truth, Ludvik and Amund venture to the cabin, only to discover secrets that should never see the light of day.
