THE OPENER is a feel-good, underdog music doc about a street performer who wrote 30 songs in 30 days to process his grief and isolation during the pandemic, and found that his music spoke to millions. When it reached the ears of one of his heroes, Grammy-winner Jason Mraz, he was invited on his very first tour and given a chance to prove himself on the big stage.

28-year-old Taeko Kase works at an event company. One day, she makes a mistake at work and is reprimanded by her boss Hiroki Itokawa. Making things worse, Taeko Kase is dumped by her boyfriend. Later, Taeko Kase follows the recommendation of cafe clerk Haruto Takagi’s and joins a dating app. With Haruto Takagi’s advice, she decides to meet Makoto Hasegawa from the app.

When Destiny, captain of three-time national champions "The Rebels," is challenged to a global cheer showdown by an edgy new team called "The Truth," the Cheer Goddess organizes a virtual battle for squads from all around the world. On October 1, 2013, the elusive street artist Banksy launched a month-long residency in New York, an art show he called Better Out Than In. As one new work of art was presented each day in a secret location, a group of fans, called “Banksy Hunters,” took to the streets and blew up social media.
