Overview
Michael Jackson, a young and struggling singer, feels overshadowed by the world’s obsession with fame and perfection. When a masked supervillain named Spotlight and his twisted father, Gary Mayor, form the Spotlight Seven to terrorize Los Angeles, Michael must rise beyond his insecurities to stop them. Along the way, he gains unlikely allies: Brad, his witty and stoic bodyguard; Samantha Carpenter, his love interest; and Goku, a misguided martial arts master. Together, they face trials, betrayals, and epic musical showdowns. The journey culminates in a spectacular showdown against the Spotlight Seven, forcing Michael to prove that being a true star isn’t about the spotlight—it’s about the joy you bring to others.

An adaptation of the classic, "The Prince and the Pauper" is the retelling of Edward Tudor and young Thomas Canty, two amazing look-alikes caught up in imperial intrigue and scandal. In fleeing from his violent father, Tom stumbles into the palace courtyard, and is seen by young Prince Edward, who takes him in. Each desiring to see what the other's life is like, the boys impulsively switch identities... little knowing what disaster lies ahead at this fault of thought. And soon Thomas becomes a pawn in the hands of Edward's malicious and greedy uncle, who would have the kingdom for himself.

Julie Andrews was nominated for an Emmy for portraying the titular scullery maid who finds true love with a prince in this legendary adaptation of one of the most famous fairy tales of all time. A musical, made-for-television, with music by Richard Rodgers and book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, it is the only of the legendary composing team's musicals created specifically for that medium. It was originally broadcast live on CBS on March 31, 1957, and was a phenomenal success, viewed by more than 107 million people. Though it originally aired in full color, only a black & white kinescope of the production has survived.
