Overview
Twenty years ago, Sardar Rajpal killed his brother and fled his hometown with his adopted daughter. Once settled, he asked his estranged wife to send their son on the misleading promise of employment. When two young men with the same name show up, both claiming to be there for the job, a baffled Sardar is forced to work out the imposter and his motive, while his daughter gradually develops a soft spot for one of them.

Indian Army soldier Shankar gets injured in cross-firing at the border. Senior Officer suggests he take 8 days to rest after consultation with doctors. The story revolves around two kings, Prithvi Vallabh (Munj) of Avantipur who is kind and just, and Tailap, a neighboring king who is cruel. With the help of his sister Mrinalvati (Durga Khote) and another neighbouring king Bhillam (K. N. Singh), Tailap manages to capture Prithvi Vallabh. The rest of the film follows incidents following his captivity.
