Steve and Anika are two social media Influencers and entrepreneurs, living an accomplished and ideal life. One night, a man breaks into their backyard, disrupting the peaceful life they had created. The ensuing fear culminates with the appearance of a mysterious countdown on screens and mirrors throughout their home. As the countdown approaches zero, it reveals the true nature of what is hiding behind their perfect lives.

It is 2020. Findings by environmental scientist Professor Thom Archer suggest that Halo, the corporate energy company drilling on the Greenland Glacier are causing it to melt. Archer's warnings are ignored, so he heads to the Arctic to find indisputable evidence. Upon arrival, he realizes humankind is under immediate threat, and races home to save his family. The glacier collapses, with devastating consequences. Astonishing weather patterns emerge and plunge the world's temperatures into steep decline.
Through the personal memory of the view of the director who in first person re-lives, after fifty years, the journey of his family towards Argentina, where he was born, on the inside of the last emmigration groups of people from Piedmont in 1948. This journey of memory and emotions gradually becomes an outline for the analysis of the situation of the emmigrants from Piedmont and of their presence from after the war until today in Argentina from the time of Peron until the economical crises through the blood thirsty and dark period of the military dictatorship.
