Frank is a man who thinks he has lost everything, until his house is destroyed by a tornado. The late Pericles gets permission from God to return to earth and help his family, who has gone astray after his death. Invisible to all but present everywhere, he is able to eavesdrop on what's going on: his youngest daughter lives it up with some Teddy boys, his eldest do not intend to marry her fiancé, his son has become a crook, and his wife a gambler.

Lorelei Lee is a beautiful showgirl engaged to be married to the wealthy Gus Esmond, much to the disapproval of Gus' rich father, Esmond Sr., who thinks that Lorelei is just after his money. When Lorelei goes on a cruise accompanied only by her best friend, Dorothy Shaw, Esmond Sr. hires Ernie Malone, a private detective, to follow her and report any questionable behavior that would disqualify her from the marriage.

Charles Duchemin, a well-known gourmet and publisher of a famous restaurant guide, is waging a war against fast food entrepreneur Tri- catel to save the French art of cooking. After having agreed to appear on a talk show to show his skills in naming food and wine by taste, he is confronted with two disasters: his son wants to become a clown rather than a restaurant tester and he, the famous Charles Duchemin, has lost his taste!

When Konprod, a hopeless former actor, accidentally falls onto Win, a passionate young filmmaker, their souls are torn from their bodies and mysteriously bound together. To return, they must resolve unfinished business by inhabiting the body of Patty, a spirited shaman and Konprod’s close friend, allowing them to finally go their separate ways as they wish.
