Strawberry's friend Coco Calypso and her animal friends have a happy life on Seaberry Island. But someone keeps stealing the seaberries Coco harvests! As Strawberry and Coco try to find the thief, they discover a shy girl named Seaberry Delight, and a fabulous new friend! Then, Strawberry, Rainbow Sherbet, Blueberry Muffin, Coco and Seaberry become mermaids in search of hidden treasure. In the process they meet a real-life Sea Beast and try to undo a mysterious magic spell.

So Strawberry Shortcake and her friends Orange Blossom and Ginger Snap go in search of Spring, a young girl who just doesn't want to do her job this year. It's up to Strawberry to convince Spring that everyone needs her and that working together can make any job fun!

Honey Pie Pony hurts her leg and must stay in bed instead of heading off for a grand adventure. A disappointed Honey proves to be a very impatient patient, that is until Strawberry Shortcake and her friends work together telling stories and singing songs to cheer Honey up and make her feel better fast!

Professor Ludwig von Drake plays a variety of popular music, all of which he wrote. First, ragtime: the Rutabaga Rag, with vegetables dancing in stop-motion. Next, the Charleston, with cut-out animation of a singer and dancers. Dixieland and more cut-out animation; the crooner/love ballad; 50's doo-wop; and finally, rockabilly.
