Overview
In 1875, Katherine's life is shattered when her beloved husband Caleb falls victim to a murder orchestrated by the nefarious Colonel Davis. Alone and overwhelmed, Katherine’s path crosses with John Scobell, a Black man with a troubled past as a former Pinkerton agent. Despite initial reluctance, John is drawn to Katherine’s determination and the injustice of Caleb’s death. Together, they form an unlikely alliance fueled by a shared desire for retribution.

Supposedly inspired by a true incident, this offbeat Western based on Stevenson's The Silverado Squatters is a dandy, high-spirited adventure yarn.

Bob Ford murders his best friend Jesse James in order to obtain a pardon that will free him to marry his girlfriend Cynthy. The guilt-stricken Ford soon finds himself greeted with derision and open mockery throughout town. He travels to Colorado to try his hand at prospecting in hopes that marriage with Cynthy is still in the cards.
