Overview
In the microchipped near-future, in the city of Los Angeles, where the human mind is uploaded to the cloud and thoughts can be used to communicate between synced individuals, a young anxious woman, Ayla, decides to move in with a new roommate, Devin, who is a childhood friend from her past. The women decide to sync their minds for a chance to foster a new close friendship. Afterwards, Ayla notices some very disturbing behavior from Devin. As their relationship quickly grows toxic, and Ayla starts dreaming about Devin’s memories, Ayla realizes she has less than 72 hours to save herself from being permanently mentally dominated by a narcissist before the sync is officially complete.

As his sinister plans unfold, he soon realizes he might be in over his head with a mysteriously unhinged call girl named Jackie.

When Ann, husband George, and son Georgie arrive at their holiday home they are visited by a pair of polite and seemingly pleasant young men. Armed with deceptively sweet smiles and some golf clubs, they proceed to terrorize and torture the tight-knit clan, giving them until the next day to survive.

To salve his guilty conscience an elder brother removes his disturbed younger sibling from a mental institution after a suicide attempt and tries to bring him back to mental competency through one on one contact. Free of the institution he continues to be haunted by dreams of a lost twin and chants the eerie phrase "Do I stand before the king?" It is the elder brother that seems doomed to lose himself in his brother's insanity.
