In 1891, the French painter Paul Gauguin leaves Paris and travels to Tahiti to renew his art as a free man, far from the European artistic conventionalism. On his journey of discovery, he faces solitude and disease, but he also knows the beauty of wild nature and the love of Tehura, a young native girl who becomes his wife and model.

The Bounty leaves Portsmouth in 1787. Its destination: to sail to Tahiti and load bread-fruit. Captain Bligh will do anything to get there as fast as possible, using any means to keep up a strict discipline. When they arrive at Tahiti, it is like a paradise for the crew, something completely different than the living hell aboard the ship. On the way back to England, officer Fletcher Christian becomes the leader of a mutiny.

Four couples, all friends, descend on a tropical island resort. Though one husband and wife are there to work on their marriage, the others just want to enjoy some fun in the sun. They soon find, however, that paradise comes at a price: Participation in couples therapy sessions is mandatory. What started out as a cut-rate vacation turns into an examination of the common problems many face.

It's silliness on the high seas as two sneaky sailors race across the South Pacific in this fast-paced and campy comedy. The fun begins when one bets the other $20,000 that he, with an all girl crew, be the first to Tahiti in a sailboat race. The other, not to be outdone, has a few monkeyshines up his sleeve and actually wins the race. The beaten bettor then makes the claim, that he can beat the victor to the mainland using a crew comprised of baboons. That is too much to resist for the other and the race is on.

Scuba diver Brielle Wilson has always believed the ocean floor is full of treasures just waiting to be found. Over the years she has found rings, coins, lost jewelry and more. Instead of profiting from them, she loves reuniting people with their lost valuables. When she finds a class ring and returns it to Marcus, a handsome US Navy serviceman, Brielle soon discovers what has been missing in her life -- treasures of the heart.
In this intense drama, filmed in Tahiti, a Tahitian girl from a small fishing village fantasizes about becoming the bride of the local boy she works with. When he leaves, she is crushed. She is later raped by a sailor and to escape it all leaves the island and sails for Europe to become an artist's model. There she meets a handsome fellow with whom she has a brief affair. Then he too deserts her and again her heart is broken. The despondent girl begins hanging out in bars and having a series of brief encounters until she meets a man who seems different from the rest.
