Director Peter Judson's semifictitious tale opens a revealing window into the indie filmmaking process, capturing the trivialities, aggravations and enthusiasm that go into completing a picture. Using footage from an indie movie set, e-mails constructing a plotline about distributor difficulties and interviews with indie mainstays such as Steve Buscemi and Sam Rockwell, the film provides a riveting look at one producer's rejections and rewards.

Nothing could be cooler than a rock-band on tour. Hordes of screaming fans who want to give up their virginity for an autograph, free drugs in all sizes, colors and kicks, luxury hotels that loose a star after our rock gods have passed through it like a tornado and sold out theaters and stadiums. The members of The Experimental Tropic Blues Band would give up one of their balls to be able to experience that one day. Everything’s better than these endless trips on the road in a tour bus that should have fallen apart decades ago, cabinets filled with aspirin to battle cheap beer hangovers, dark and smelly theaters with clogged toilets and a few lost spectators, getting paid in candy bars and not one horny groupie in sight. It certainly can’t get any worse than that? Just wait and see!

During the Irish housing crisis, a documentary crew follows a greedy and corrupt Landlord who claims to have solved the housing problem for college students by creating "Boxtown", accommodation for students made out of cardboard boxes located in the car park beneath their college. But is this the paradise that the Landlord would have them believe?

In the dusty backwaters of Florence, Kentucky, Patrol Officer Jim Wolowitz is the last guy you’d trust with a badge and unfortunately, the only person left wearing one. When a string of increasingly bizarre crimes rocks the town—a panty theft epidemic, illegal moonshine being sold to children, and missing racehorses turning up in Chinese food—Jim is forced to unravel a tangled conspiracy involving local weirdos, an unstable sheriff, and a shadowy notebook that seems to connect it all. Soon, Jim will have to face his ultimate fear: actual police work.
