End of High School, Beginning of Summer. A group of friends spend most of their time together, but little do they know that each and everyone of them has set their mind on pursuing one goal, the goal of every teenager : doing it for the first time. And sometimes the line between friendship, love and desire is really thin especially when you’re 15.

Ava, 13, is spending the summer on the Atlantic coast when she learns that she will lose her sight sooner than expected. Her mother decides to act as if everything were normal so as to spend their best summer ever. Ava confronts the problem in her own way. A gay man loses his partner. We hear his deepest thoughts as he walks through the woods of Mohonk; this internal voice is punctuated by graphic glimpses of new grief, interruptive and savage. June and Jennifer Gibbons are twins from the only Black family in a small town in Wales in the 1970s and '80s. Feeling isolated from the community, the pair turn inward and reject communication with everyone but each other, retreating into their own fantasy world of inspiration and adolescent desires. After a spree of vandalism, the girls are sentenced to Broadmoor, an infamous psychiatric hospital, where they face the choice to separate and survive or die together.
