The plot of Death Curtain is incredibly interesting. In the film, the leader of the communists is a woman named Leyla Sayar, while the leader of the Turkish police is another woman, Muallâ Kaynak. Murat Davman, meanwhile, is busy dealing with the bomb while also managing to keep up with both women thanks to his "little" flirtations.

Raoul Duke and his attorney Dr. Gonzo drive a red convertible across the Mojave desert to Las Vegas with a suitcase full of drugs to cover a motorcycle race. As their consumption of drugs increases at an alarming rate, the stoned duo trash their hotel room and fear legal repercussions. Duke begins to drive back to L.A., but after an odd run-in with a cop, he returns to Sin City and continues his wild drug binge.

The assignment is to cover the country's elections, but instead a military coup breaks out and Morgan turns out to be the only foreign journalist on the scene.
