Overview
Hamed tries to convince Nadia to impersonate Laila, the daughter of his wealthy uncle, to seize his money. Nadia agrees with him and begins setting her net on the wealthy uncle. However, she meets her ex-lover, Hassan, and tells him her story. Hamed discovers the predicament he is in, and his attempt to kill her fails.

The young American actor Carl Erikson is the darling of the moment. Carl sneaks into her dressing room, and Paulette, swept away, gives herself to him for a night of passion. Should she leave Philippe or break up with Carl? Will Philippe succumb to Claudine’s charms, even though she herself is not taken with Carl?

Clean hands is an Australian short film created by up and coming director Director Alvin Verghese and shot by Cinematographer Callum Saunders, with lead characters played themselves. Clean hands uses traditional Noir film techniques inspired by films like Double Indemnity and much more. Clean hands was produced with a budget of $20 and borrowed equipment, being of of the first produced by this duo.

What begins as petty theft spirals into a deadly moral unraveling.
Emiko Jones makes her way to a premier after-party for a movie called ‘THE ATOMIC MAN’. Amongst the sea of white, Emiko spots a woman. The only other Asian in the room. They eventually get talking, even conversing in Japanese. Like all good conversations, it leads to a song - a song Emiko’s Japanese grandmother used to sing to her—one she hasn’t sung since she was a child. It’s through this meeting that Emiko remembers parts of herself that have been long forgotten and denied.
