Overview
"Diverse Disability" is a fictional short film that takes us into the lives of various deaf and blind characters, facing various challenges in a world that often excludes them. Set in Guatemala, the film addresses sensitive issues such as sexuality, work, health and the lack of empathy towards people with disabilities. As the stories intertwine, the short film highlights the importance of empathy, inclusion, and mindset change in Guatemalan society. The narrative highlights how ignorance and lack of understanding can affect the participation of people with disabilities in the social and productive life of the country. Through these moving stories, "Disapacidad Diversa" seeks to raise awareness and promote a positive change in the perception and treatment of the diverse disability community in Guatemala.

Older, wiser but still a wandering loner, the blind, peace-loving masseur Ichi seeks a peaceful life in a rural village. In one Vojvodinian castle, the preparations for the play that will be performed by members of the Association of the blind are in the process. The play is dedicated to the Jews from America who are supposed to come and visit the place of their ancestor's massacre in 1942, during a raid in Novi Sad. The plot was to be carried out according to the original stories of witnesses who have gone through this tragic event. However, the initiators of the show manipulate the blind people in order to smuggle bombs for Albanian terrorists.

Salim, a homicide detective, is a reclusive man in his 30s. Salim, who is divorced and has a 3-year-old daughter, learns that the eye treatment he has been undergoing for some time is not working and that he will eventually go completely blind. While trying to cope with this problem, he begins working on a new murder case, and the fact that the wife of the murdered man, Handan Hanım, is also a blind pianist makes Salim's situation even more interesting. As the case progresses, Salim falls deeply in love with Handan Hanım, but when she rejects him, he turns his attention to Leyla, the blind wife of the prime suspect in the murder. But undoubtedly the strangest thing is that Salim's beloved mother is an elderly, blind prostitute. As events unfold, Salim becomes even more blinded.

Deaf-mute Sergey enters a specialized boarding school for the deaf. In navigating through the school's hierarchy, he encounters a corrupt underbelly of criminality, known as The Tribe. By participating in several robberies, he gets propelled higher into the organization, when he meets one of the Chief’s concubines Anya, and unwittingly breaks all the unwritten rules of the group."
