Five girls grow up in China during the first years of the twentieth century. When they become adults they have to learn that women are almost without rights. Other women close to them are suppressed in the most brutal way. 'Of All The Things' is a narrative short inspired by lived experience with the aim of developing a compassionate dialogue around hoarding. This is a story about connection, not just a condition. The film was made with the support of the hoarding community to ensure authenticity, it is designed to visualise the unseen emotional impact hoarding behaviours can have on the relationship between family members. When a well-known environmental researcher is murdered in the Amazon jungle, an arrogant photojournalist joins forces with a beautiful young activist to find out who is responsible. Along they way, they fall in love as they discover the men responsible for the killing would be more than willing to murder again if it will keep them quiet.
