Overview
In this sequel to Dear Ruth, teenaged Miriam starts a political campaign to nominate Bill Seacroft, her brother-in-law, for state senator in opposition to the local political machine. Unknown to Miriam, said machine nominates her father, Judge Wilkins. As support grows for Bill, the presence of rival candidates under one roof poses problems, especially for Ruth, wife to Bill and daughter of the judge.

End of High School, Beginning of Summer. A group of friends spend most of their time together, but little do they know that each and everyone of them has set their mind on pursuing one goal, the goal of every teenager : doing it for the first time. And sometimes the line between friendship, love and desire is really thin especially when you’re 15.

The life of four best friends in Paris: Antoine (a gym school teacher), Jeff (director of a monthly journal), Alex (Jeff's associate in the monthly journal and a Don Juan) and Manu (owner of fine food store). Their time is shared between their respective jobs, their relationship with women (their own and others...) and the times they meet together to discuss about life and play sport lottery.

It’s summer in the hood. As every year, there are those who stay, those who leave, and... those who should have left. Some, like Joe Hustleton, work «under the table» in the rich neighborhoods and fall head over heels for a pretty girl. Some, like Tony Pepperoni, play businessman and spend the summer fleeing a local gang leader and a psychopathic girlfriend. Some, like Sammy and Harvey, pretend to have left. Tropics are far for the homies... and summer promises to be very hot!
