Overview
In a small town, every inhabitant lives his daily life without asking too many questions and ignoring the disappearance of some women, until one day someone will put them in front of the possibility that they could be brutal serial murders. From that moment, fear will make its way and every balance will be shaken. To reach the denied truth denied for so long, the protagonists will find themselves losing much more than one can imagine.

In 1961, Sally Bishop and her husband vacation to Northern Italy, where they get stranded at a remote villa run by the enigmatic Vova, who presides over a household of beautiful, deathless women and their caretaker. As Sally becomes entangled in their world of seduction, violence and illusion, she begins to lose her grip on time and self as her own dark transformation unfolds.

The film depicts a dystopian world very close to our own. Every November, people go into hibernation and wake up in spring. The protagonist, a nineteen-year-old boy named Stefano, is forced to spend the hibernation period in the isolated house of his stepmother, his father's new partner.

Sadistic no-count killer Nanni Vitali and three other equally brutish hoodlums escape from prison. The foul foursome embark on a savage rape, murder, and robbery spree. Vitali even abducts and defiles frightened hapless lass Giuliana Caroli. Meanwhile, rugged police inspector Giulio Santini is determined to bag the despicable Vitali.

Policewoman Anna Mari is forced to play a dangerous game with the title serial killer. If she loses, she witnesses the maniac's tortured victims having their throats cut in explicit close-up detail via webcam. She teams up with British cop John Brennan to find out the identity of the murderer.

Together they try to find the kidnappers, but she becomes suspicious of everyone including Gambino. Confused and paranoid, she sets out alone to contact the police.

Exploring a dilapidated and uninhabited farmhouse, nine-year-old Michele discovers a secret so momentous, so terrible, that he dares not tell anyone about it...
